Michelle was born and raised in the suburbs of New York and began shooting photography in the late 80's (portraits and scenery). While embarking on a professional acting career, she studied photography at New York University in the early 90's, and had the opportunity to capture the delicious urban landscape and artistic life of Greenwich Village. That decade also led to traveling with camera in hand to Ireland, England, Scotland, Korea, Hong Kong, Thailand, Mexico and across the United States. Shooting photography all over the world became a passion. Her acting career moved her to Los Angeles in 1998 where Michelle began shooting actors' headshots mostly as a favor to her friends and colleagues. Further travel in the new millennium to Spain, New Zealand, Switzerland, France and Japan brought even more appreciation for the world's beauty through the lens of her camera. Michelle loves shooting performers' portraits that capture and reflect the true essence of the artist and present an honest expression of their individual beauty. She especially loves photographing children and babies. Michelle currently lives in Bayside, Queens, NY with her husband and baby boy.
